BACKGROUND & PROCESS

  • Performed assessment of company’s investment thesis and how it would improve/change over coming 18-24 months
  • Evaluated existing shareholder base
  • Extensive institutional investor identification process, yielding 700+ targets in U.S. and Europe
  • Implemented 12-month consistent outreach and engagement plan
  • Managed outreach efforts and responses, coordinated calls and meetings

RESULTS

  • Over 12-month period generated 8-12 touchpoints with over 580 targets (approximately 120 fell off due to lack of interest, timing, or personnel changes)
  • 220 calls or meetings with targeted investors
  • 76 of targeted funds initiated positions
  • Top 30 ownership concentration declined from ~80% to ~50%
  • European institutional ownership increased from ~5% to ~22%
